Videos: Samoa Joe def. Seth Rollins Following the aftermath of Extreme Rules, Seth was on the war path once again. He fearlessly barges in on a debate backstage between General Manager Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe. Seth declares that he is not afraid of anybody, he has no problem beating Samoa Joe again tonight because he has done so before. Seth even dismisses the “Eater of Worlds”, Bray Wyatt, labeling him as a false prophet. General Manager Angle enjoys Seth’s match idea and happily allows the two to face each other in the Main Event of Raw. Fearless Seth definitely gets his rear end handed to him at the beginning of the match. He gets rag-dolled into the corner by Joe and kneed in the stomach, thrown viciously into the ringside barricade and pounded down before the commercial break. Through all the punishment though, a defiant Rollins keeps re-entering the match with an unknown amount of energy (seriously where does he store it?). He even manages to pick up Samoa Joe to gather some offense. As Seth gains momentum and goes up for his trademark Phoenix Splash, none other than Bray Wyatt’s entrance video interrupts us all. The distraction proves dangerous for Seth as he gets wrapped up tight by Samoa Joe in the Coquina Clutch, and this draws the match to a close.

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor & Bray Wyatt (To Become #1 Contender) After many weeks we finally have a number one contender, Samoa Joe. A true wreck from the start this match quickly turned into Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe vs. Everyone. The terrible two wrecked everyone in sight with a set of the steel stairs from the ring. Seth kept battling back into the fray diving each way onto his opponents, but gets shut down with a DDT on the steel steps by Bray Wyatt. The devastating blow would effect Seth for a while as Roman spears Finn Balor & company through the barricade. Seth soon releases he’s the only man left standing in the ring and he devises a plan to destroy Bray Wyatt. Seth flies off the ring post with frog-splash through the announce table. Immediately Seth holds his knee painfully as it took much of the force of his landing. Once he struggles to his feet, he releases he’s directly across from a battered, bloody nosed Roman. The two stare each other down before limping back to the ring. There the two get more fired up as they stand face to face. The fist swinging starts and Seth appears to be getting the upper-hand before he creates some distance, and then gets KO’d with a massive punch. The match gets extremely scattered from there with Rollins giving a massive buckle bomb to Reigns, kicking out of a sister Abigail, and avoiding pinfall attempt after pinfall attempt. Unfortunately, as Samoa Joe wraps Finn Balor up like pretzel, he gets the submission and we leave Extreme Rules with Seth holding his knee painfully after taking his shoe off outside the ring.

Filed in Digital Photos, Gallery Additions, PPV, Results and Photos Videos: Roman Reigns def. Seth Rollins In a reverse of fortune — given Reigns has been banged up the last few weeks — Rollins was forced to compete at less than 100 percent after The Big Dog landed a Drive-By that sent Seth ribs-first into the ring post. The Architect stayed in the fight on pure adrenaline, but Reigns had an answer every step of the way, rebounding from a buckle bomb with an instantaneous Superman Punch. It was a rough way to treat a man Reigns once called his brother, but like Kurt Angle said all those weeks ago: In the race for the Universal Title, it’s every man for himself. Videos: General Manager Angle Creates Number One Contenders Match Moments after The Olympic Hero made his announcement, all of the aforementioned Superstars arrived to confront each other in Raw’s opening moments, and they didn’t waste any time attempting to get a leg up on their opponents — in Rollins’ case, literally: In the ensuing fracas, The Kingslayer landed a blow on Joe’s knee that sent him limping up the ramp, though it was Bálor who ended the fray with an over-the-top-rope plancha to Reigns and Rollins on the outside. Seth Rollins def. Bray Wyatt (DQ Due to Samoa Joe Interfering) Rollins put Wyatt on his heels almost immediately in the show-closing clash, forcing The Reaper of Souls to fight from underneath and wear The Architect down with his unorthodox, punishing offense. Rollins hung in tough, escaping Sister Abigail and swooping down on Bray outside the ring with a cross body, at which point Samoa Joe stormed in from the crowd and attacked The Kingslayer as payback for injuring his knee earlier in the night. The Samoan Submission Machine’s interference didn’t sit well with the disqualified Wyatt, who suckered Joe into a tentative alliance before hitting Sister Abigail on the unsuspecting big man. The Eater of Worlds then turned his attention to Rollins, also administering the maneuver to The Kingslayer. So, this is where we leave five of Team Red’s top Superstars: Primed to clash in the first-ever Extreme Rules Fatal 5-Way match in a battle that could potentially reshape the New Era with an opportunity to challenge Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at stake. With it being every man for himself, there will truly be nowhere to run.
