Seth Attempts a Reunion with Dean Ambrose & Miztourage Attacks Looking to finally put the past in the past, The Architect offered an unprecedented apology to Ambrose and even a free crack with a steel chair, but The Lunatic Fringe couldn’t bring himself to carry out the attack, opting instead to toss his chair from the ring. Miz and The Miztourage had no such qualms, however, surrounding the ring and picking Rollins and Ambrose apart with steel chairs of their own. The numbers game strikes again, but as it turns out, Ambrose and Rollins are OK with that. When Raw General Manager Kurt Angle offered them a match against any two Miztourage members next week, Ambrose suggested a 2-on-3 Handicap Match against all of them instead. A full-on reunion might not be in the cards, but maybe, just maybe, these two old rivals can make the WWE Universe believe again all the same. Photos: Videos:

He looks Seth up and down sternly telling him to keep to his own business. Dean adds that “this isn’t happening, there ain’t going to be no Shield reunion.” A taken aback Rollins simply chuckles and shrugs with an “okay man.” Bray Wyatt def. Seth Rollins Photos: Videos:

Seth Rollins After weeks of absorbing insults — “blasphemy,” in his words — from Rollins, Wyatt seemed to enjoy getting in The Kingslayer’s head in the early goings of their long-brewing confrontation. The Reaper of Souls laughed off The Architect’s early attacks and dangled upside-down off the ring post, stopping Seth cold right as he was about to pounce. Wyatt only turned on the jets once Rollins had been good and duly unmanned, and once he did, The Eater of Worlds quickly looked like a “god” of the Old Testament variety. The Kingslayer was subjected to all manner of savagery, landing face-first on the steel steps before suffering a superplex off the top rope and an unorthodox maneuver that spiked him forehead first into the apron. Alas, boxing with a self-proclaimed “god” turned out to be a bad move for The Man. While the ref attempted to peel Rollins off his foe, Wyatt jabbed The Architect in the eye with his thumb. Quite literally blinded by Wyatt’s power, Rollins was easy pickings for a Sister Abigail that put him down for three. Photos: Videos: Full Match Video (Dailymotion)

Curt Hawkins & In Ring Promo Following the short lived match Seth delivers a promo aimed at Bray Wyatt where he says he embraces all of his sins and doesn’t hide them. Each mistake has made Seth the man he is today and he is perfectly at peace with that. He tells Bray that at Great Balls of Fire there will be a cleansing, but it will not be his own soul, but of Bray’s mystique, as Seth will prove that is NOT a god after all. Seth drops the mic dramatically and walks off, taking a glance back at his handiwork writhing outside the ring on the floor as he goes. Photos:

When Seth interrupts Wyatt’s rant though, he is extremely cheerful and happy that his verbal jab managed to get under Bray Wyatt’s skin so easily. Seth claims he said what he did because it’s the truth. He says Bray Wyatt drinks too much of his own kool aid and doesn’t like to hear the truth. Bray Wyatt seems equally amused by Seth’s brash comments and says that Seth’s pride will be his downfall. Wyatt comments that Seth is “just oozing all over the place” (referring to his confidence) and part way through his reply he briefly disappears, leaving Seth looking for a surprise attack. The attack doesn’t come and the eater of worlds appears on the tron, eerily saying that Seth may have slayed the king, but gods never die. He says Seth will have to give into his fear as the segment ends. |
