Videos: Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Chris Jerico def. The New Day If there is one crew that does NOT possess The Power of Positivity, it is Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho and Braun Strowman. But that doesn’t mean they can’t win. The craftiest, nastiest and, well, brawniest members of Raw’s Men’s Survivor Series team managed to find unity against the record-setting Raw Tag Team Champions, leading to an impressive win over ya boys. Perhaps the teams’ pre-match displays had clued the WWE Universe in to a different outcome — New Day hawked their merch in unison while their foes squabbled over scarves. But if anyone held out hope for New Day, it was dashed the second Strowman took out Big E and Kofi Kingston, leaving Xavier Woods to the mercy of his collected foes. A running powerslam from Strowman ended the match, but a Pedigree to Rollins from Jericho put an end to the victors’ partnership. At least until Sunday.

Unwilling to lose her team to infighting, Stephanie gave the five Survivor Series team members a chance to work out their aggression in a Fatal 5-Way Match in Raw’s main event. That Kevin Owens won the Fatal 5-Way among Raw’s male Survivor Series competitors wasn’t necessarily surprising, per se — OK, given that Braun Strowman kind of wrecked everyone for 10 minutes, it was a little surprising. What’s surprising was who KO pinned to do it. In a match that initially began with a Strowman rampage, it took the combined efforts of Jeri-KO, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to finally get The Gift of Destruction out of the ring. And at that point, Rollins & Reigns joined forces again to keep the big man at bay. Jericho and Owens re-joined the fray just in time to break up a Shield-esque Double Powerbomb to Strowman, focusing their efforts on The Big Dog in particular. Rollins broke out the big move of the match by power-bombing Jericho through both a prone Strowman and the table beneath him, and very nearly won the match by Pedigreeing Jericho, but Owens stole the win in a most unusual way. After Owens had super-kicked Rollins out of the ring, Reigns clocked him with a Superman Punch, and The Prizefighter toppled onto his fallen buddy to inadvertently score the win. To be fair: Friends don’t let friends lose matches.

Seth Rollins (with the help of Chris Jericho) In case you couldn’t guess, that was Chris Jericho, who made his presence felt after Rollins gritted and grounded his way into position to win the match. That in and of itself was a miracle after KO snuffed out Rollins’ early showing by targeting The Architect’s back, ripping off Rollins’ Kinesio tape before savaging him all across the cage. Rollins was able to keep himself in the fight, but when Owens accidentally blasted one of the officials in the face with a fire extinguisher, Jericho took advantage of the briefly open Cell door to lock himself inside and pocket the key. Rollins quickly dispatched Jericho by sending him crashing into the Cell wall, but the mere presence of The Ayatollah of Rock ’n’ Rolla left him at an insurmountable disadvantage. Even though he was able to power through his brutalised back to powerbomb Owens through a pair of tables, he couldn’t stop Jericho from hauling the ref away before the pinfall could be counted. And, although he was able to briefly chase Jericho down, he wasn’t able to stop Jeri-KO from ultimately uniting and bringing two steel chairs into the match. And once Owens power bombed him through those two chairs with Jericho watching on, Rollins wasn’t able to do much of anything
