SmackDown Captures: Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston
SmackDown Digitals: Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston
WWE Posts this photo of Seth on their Instagram account tonight of Seth preparing for battle:
Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston
Seth enters the arena in his all new gear which is reminiscent of the Shield gear but he wrestles without the leather top. What could have been an awesome match between two high flyers was unfortunately a rather short match-up tonight. Seth remains in control throughout the match-up countering the moves of Kofi Kingston and not allowing him to hit his famous boom drop. Seth’s running boot the back of the head finishes off his adversary.
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose Trade Words
Following his easy victory Rollins decides he has something to say. He begins speaking “Not only am I the first entrant in the MITB ladder match but I will guarantee this…” He doesn’t get to finish as a calling voice interrupts his thoughts. Dean Ambrose appears on the tron and says he wants to ensure that every time Seth comes out and every time he hears the bell he should wonder if tonight will be the night that Dean Ambrose gets even. Seth not to be outdone with confidence says that it’s a shame Dean has a match with the demon Kane later in the evening because he wishes that Dean would come out there so he could kick his teeth down his throat. Ambrose cockily replies “Don’t do that Seth, just don’t.”
Following this brief moment of bickering we return later in the show during Dean’s match up to see Seth at the announce desk. Seth is cool and confident on the mic saying he did what he had to do in response to Cole accusing him yet again of betraying his brothers. Seth also tells Michael Cole “If you’ve ever sat next to Dean Ambrose you’d know how insane he is.” Seth stands up when Ambrose gains control of his match-up and Cole asks him if he’s concerned. Seth replies “No I’m not concerned I just want a better view. Come on Dean. Come on and fight me.” Ambrose knocks Kane over the top rope and makes his way to the outside of the ring and launches himself over the announce desk onto Seth. He makes good on the attack beating on Rollins but doesn’t win his match. As Dean lays beaten Seth enters the ring and waits for him to stand only to deliver his patented curb stop…peace of mind. Seth stands over Dean laughing at his handy work.
