Episode Recap
As Randy Orton returns intent on a confrontation with Seth Rollins, the authority immediately tries to rally him to their side again. Orton isn’t buying anything but agrees to a business meeting backstage. The meeting ends up joining together Rollins & Orton as a team to face Bryan and Reigns in the main event. The two uneasily shake hands, making everyone wonder how the match will end up.
Later Seth finds Randy in the locker room, Orton orders Seth to leave “his pets” outside and Rollins tells his security to leave. Randy tells Seth he is in no way forgetting what happened before but he will forget their differences tonight (in order to show Reigns and Bryan who really should have won the Royal Rumble). As the two shake hands Orton adds “through any means necessary.”
In their match the two appear to be on the same page however it is not enough to win. Orton is angered by their lack of a victory and begins to take out his anger on everyone in sight. He hauls Seth up onto his feet roughly but ends up just simply patting him on the shoulder.
One can only wonder how long the unlikely truce between these two explosive personalities will last and if the two will eventually meet at WrestleMania.
