The Shield vs. The New Age Outlaws and CM Punk
It doesn’t take long for the match to get intense and have all members involved as Seth is saved from a finisher by Roman Reigns. Shield members going flying in all directions out of the ring during the first high spot of action in the contest. Later Seth uses his speed to come out of seemingly nowhere to take out Road Dogg. He has a fit when Billy Gunn interrupts his pin-fall, hollering at Gunn and the referee. He then drags RD back into the Shield corner yelling “isolation”. He continues to shout after Reigns is tagged in. Rollins later back in as the quick tags continue and delivers a sleeper to RD. Seth follows it up with a swift knock into the turnbuckle head first. An angry Rollins kicks the shoulder of the WWE veteran and grabs at his face after he fails to get the pin. The match would end with seth missing a leap of faith and crashing into the floor and Roman Reigns finishing it all off with his spear.

Piper’s Pit with The Shield
Dean Ambrose wastes little time getting in the face of one of WWE’s biggest legends. But Roddy is never one to back down. He claims the one person who can match him on the mic is one CM Punk. Dean Ambrose gets extremely wound up and threatens Roddy before Seth Rollins jumps in. Rollins states that Roddy is purely jealous of Ambrose’s superiority as a US Champion.
Roddy shoots back with “one on one you couldn’t beat Punk either” to Ambrose. Roddy asks Reigns if he beats CM Punk will there be a crack in the Shield? He further gets in Reigns’s face with “Are they holding you back?”. At this point the rest of the Shield begin to get worked up and Roman slowly rises to his feet. He says very slowly “I am going to beat CM Punk tonight, and if you ever touch me again I’m going to break your old ass in half. The shield then moves in towards Roddy with Ambrose saying “lets leave an impression on Mr. Piper and Seth mockingly saying “Mr. Piper”.
With Roddy backed into a corner and danger lurking CM Punk’s music hits.
A brawl ensues with Punk and the New Age Outlaws coming to the aid of Piper.

At Ringside for Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk
Seth was not in action in a match tonight but was at ringside to support Roman Reigns. At one point in the match he had to hold an incensed Dean Ambrose back away from the ring telling Ambrose “he’s got it”. Seth takes a hit from CM Punk which knocks him over-top of the announce desk. Following the end of the match Ambrose wanted to attack but ended up getting some in the end courtesy of a snack visit from Jake the Snake Roberts! Jake the Snake scaring off the rest of the Shield with his lovely reptile friend and then proceeding to let it crawl a little over Dean’s face.

The Usos vs. Rollins & Reigns
These two teams have met numerous times over the past year and SmackDown will start off the competition tonight with another battle between these two teams. Ambrose takes up commentary once again and explains that Roman Reigns doesn’t just have gorgeous hair, he is a thoroughbred in the ring. Cole comments back that many people think Roman Reigns is the best in the Shield. Not to be deterred Ambrose shuts him down by saying “Now your’re just stirring the pot again Cole”, and he gives his announce counterpart the evil eye.
Rollins works on the arm of one of the Uso brothers keeping him grounded for a period of time. When Reigns is tagged in he continues to hammer on the sore arm until the Usos battle back with their teamwork. They attempt to go for their famous Uso splash but Ambrose grabs their ankles and involves himself in the match.
This forces the ref to call for the bell and the Usos are declared the winner. Just before commercial break Vickie Guerrero appears and after the break announces that the main event will feature the Usos and CM Punk who had appeared to assist the Usos in the after match brawl against the Shield.

Jey Uso is larger size to toss Rollins around the ring and deliver some devastating fists. Rollins takes some hard landings and his head gets further abuse from the Usos double team. Jey trips up Rollins and Jimmy delivers a flying leg drop to the back of Seth’s neck. Jimmy is tagged in and further manhandles a smaller Rollins. Jey Uso the knocks Rollins flying out of the ring. Rollins almost falls prey to the famous Uso splash but Roman Reigns blocks his path. At the height of the action near the end of the match Ambrose rushes in to interrupt the possible submission as Rollins is caught in the anaconda vice. Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk
Raw starts of with CM Punk who says he can’t really say 2013 was his year but the people who could..would be the Shield. Shortly after the Shield makes their entrance. Dean Ambrose tries to get in CM Punk’s face, threatening to end this year with a beating. CM Punk however decides he wants to face the “best” member of the Shield tonight on Raw and asks who it will be. Ambrose immediately tells Punk he is looking forward to giving him another beating then, but Punk disagrees saying he has beat Ambrose on multiple occasions. Ambrose tries to rush at Punk but Rollins and Reigns hold him back.
Punk states that all he hears people talk about is Roman Reigns, and asks Roman if he is the best-then shouts at the big man to look at him while he is is talking. Seth then decides to pick up the loose microphone and declare that Punk is looking at the best.
Rollins and Reigns then engage in debate with each other trying to figure out which one of them will face Punk. But before they can decide Brad Maddox decides for them; he announces a match between Punk and Seth Rollins that will begin immediately.

As the match starts off it becomes clear that both men will use all their offensive against each other. Both men engage in a very back and forth contest of wills where we see Seth use his high flying splash, a power-bomb like maneuver and pull out all the stops after his initial frustration at the match start. When Seth hits his patented enziguri and it appears as though the match is won- the referee’s attention stays with an angry Ambrose who is itching to get into the ring and do damage on Punk. Seth goes for the pin and has Punk down for several seconds before the referee begins his count. By the time the referee counts it is too late and Punk gathers the strength to kick out at two and a half. An incredulous Rollins gazes at his tag team partners in disbelief at what just occurred. In the end Rollins falls victim to vicious GTS. Roman Reigns stands beside Seth glaring at CM Punk as Dean Ambrose sits on the outside of the ring with a red face looking extremely angry.

Re-Visit the Action:SmackDown Digitals

Seth Rollins is defeated by John Cena
Both men start of the action by staring each other down and Rollins takes the first bump as he takes a fast hip toss from the former champ. Outside the ring he takes the chance to throw a bit of a temper tantrum before regrouping. Back in the ring he uses his speed to dive out of the way of Cena’s oncoming elbow. Seth nearly pulls off a couple upsets in this back and forth battle of wills between a veteran and a grade A rookie. Seth does show some frustration though as his partners attempt to will him back into the match. Cena power-bombs Seth hard nearly flipping him completely over at the height of the match. But this isn’t enough to take one over Seth and the kick-out leaves the crowd in shock. Ambrose even looking on has a massive fish eyes look on his face. Rollins pulls out an awesome high flying knee and almost catches Cena at two and a half. Rollins takes a moment after Cena’s kick-out formulate a plan in his mind and he glances at his boot and licks his lips in the anticipation at what is to come. However instead he get’s his foot caught by Cena and wrangled into an STF. He quickly uses all his power to crawl towards the ropes.
Dean Ambrose attempts to get involved into the match but is ejected by Big E and sent flying over the announce desk. Big E though get’s taken out by the spear of Roman Reigns, and the Reigns to get’s sent over the announce desk by one Mark Henry. Back in the ring Seth tries once again to catch Cena again with a high risk move but gets caught and takes an attitude adjustment. This proves to be the final straw and Cena gets the win. Both announcers comment on the caliber of the match and put Seth Rollins over huge on his ability. Crowd was invested in the whole match.
